Blue Heron Studio partners with other practitioners and healers a-like that provide tools that have help others in the same way. For Ash, these practices have helped her heal, show up as a parent, a partner, an artist, a friend, and someone growing a small business from the ground up. This space is an extension of that path—a place where others can find support in their own recovery, whether from addiction, trauma, or just the weight of being human. A place for other healers and teachers to share their unique wisdom to help others as well.

Blue Heron Studio is a way of giving back and creating a place where others can land, breathe, and reset.

The studio is held by Ash Pereira—She moved to East Nashville 12 years ago and instantly fell in love with the sense of community here. Ash is a mother of four (two bio, two bonus), dog lover, and fellow recovery sister. Ash got into meditation and Qi Gong years ago after developing a strange and overwhelming functional neurological illness which Western medicine had it’s limitations. What started as a search for healing became a lifelong commitment to practice and study. Since 2012, Ash has made a full turn physically, mentally, and spiritually, a full transformation that healed the majority of her symptoms and ailments.

In education, she’s been a student of Medical Qi Gong and Traditional Chinese Medicine theory under Dr. J Michael Wood and Dr. Bernard Shannon, and she’s currently continuing her education in psychology and Mandarin Chinese at MTSU.
